Of course the way Clarkson did it in a jokingly way. When he took off the helmet he asked him questions on who he was, and of course everyone recognised he was Schumacher off the bat. The Stig was changed a few times before, so Im only wondering when Schumacher became the Stig, or was it really just a prank and the "real" Stig is still unknown. Still a pretty cool moment in television :thumbup1:

Yeah, because Top Gear is all about "information". The humour in the show is great, and the show is hosted by the three biggest legends in British television! Ever see one of the Top Gear challenges? They are fantastic, great watch every one of them.

Put it this way. Some people like it, others don't. I find it very boring because I'm far more interested in the cars than these so called 'legends' you speak of. Another thing is that I usually watch other shows for humor. Like actual comedy shows. I'm not saying x show is better than y show, I'm just saying usually, when I want to laugh, I watch a show whose purpose is to make me laugh, not provide a weird potpourri of cars, humor, and "legends."

Of course, some of this has to do with the fact that I'm not from Britain. So you can chalk up my scoffing at these 'legends' to that.


I never said that I wanted to absorb as much 'info' as possible in 40 mins, it's more that I fall asleep whenever it cuts back to the part in the studio where they interview people, etc.

(I watched an episode of Seinfeld while looking for cars on the internet yesterday. Then I tried to watch an episode of Top Gear. Suffice to say multitasking >>> top gear)


2nd edit: It's not quite fair to compare seinfeld to top gear. How about this: I believe the show "brainiac" is more entertaining than top gear. Now my opinions should be more bashable.
