Sorry to necro the post but the game is beign released fairly soon, so I don't think it will be that big of an issue.

Myself and a couple of my buddies and I have purchased the game and have been trying it out. Its pretty solid, but if you're looking for loads of huge content, its not there yet.
From what I've gathered all the combat is PVP. You get missions as criminal/enforcers that involve interfering with the plans of criminals/enforcers. You always end up fighting other players. Having "backup" or a team is essential.

The level of customization is amazing. From decals that go on clothes/tattoos to making your own music tracks that play when you kill someone, you can make some pretty customized stuff. Character customization is off the wall too.

My advice is to follow this game for the next few months and see what new content is introduced. I haven't had any issues with playability so far, but I can't speak for everyone. Its a pretty interesting concept for a game and I'll definitely sub for the first month or two. After that I'll check periodically to see if more content has been added.

Gamestop has a release date of June 29th. This looks pretty cool.
