im running vista...

ive got 2g of ram
dx10
amd 64 x2 6000+
8500gt (dx diag says i have 1008 vcard memory but im not sure if thats correct)


the game runs, but its choppy. anyone know anything i can do to fix this or any settings to tweak?

and dont give me "you're running vista"

You might want to defrag, virus scan etc.

Did you make sure to set it to "Use fullscreen" and disable "Show frame"?

"show frame" is on i believe, ill turn it off and try it out

I turned up the buffer slider and it seemed to improve my performance along with turning down a few settings.

yeah, i had meant to buy a new gfix card wayyy back around when i moved into my apartment in chicago. but uhhmm....i invested it all on marijuana.

To be honest with you Im running vista in windowed mode and my game runs fine. I would say upgrade the graphics card, I have a 8800gts, I had a 8500gt and it ran games so shitty.
