When i first heard about this game it was so psyched as i love 40k, i think i have about 35 books or something in physical form and many more in ebook format, the Dawn of war series is great but i've always wanted to play as a single Space Marine in a game so this was like a dream come true, however i then discovered it was for Consoles only and i've only got a PC.

Whilst browsing around the other day i stumbled across this from THQ


we're always looking at feedback on forums and know there are lots of people who are interested in a PC version. If we continue to see a strong desire for a PC version of Space Marine, who knows what might happen!

If you love 40k get it signed D: This is really one of the few games im looking forward to aside from the Warhammer 40k MMO and would go as far as to buy a console simply to play it, hopefully the petition is successful though and it gets released for PC too, even if its a year later.

Just finishing up the currently released horus heresy books and about to start the Soul Drinker ones, they any good? LotD would be awesome though. Or a game adaption of the Astral Knights (http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Astral_Knights), shame Ultramarines get all the face time being the poster boys of the Space Marines, other chapters such as Blood Angels or Space Wolves have so much more character.

Yeah been waiting a while for Chaos to be added, was really disappointed when they were not in DoW2 from the start.

I thought DoW2 was a pretty poor game tbh, it was hard at the beginning then it was piss easy, then it was piss easy for the main part and bosses just had ridiculous ammounts of HP. Wasn't a good balance and I prefer the orignal DoW series.

Just ordered the collectors edition this morning :3 Added you on steam zee, is it just vanilla DoW2 you have? Retribution has a far better campaign than the vanilla, have you tried the last stand mode yet? That can be a laugh

I have chaos rising and getting retribution today since D2D is having a sale. No I haven't been able to find 2 others to play last stand yet. I spent 30 minutes waiting the other day but no luck.

On Steam for $10 USD you can get the DoW2: Retribution "The Last Standalone" bit of the full game.

It's a full game in itself though, professionally made not some spinoff, also part of the full version. A few of my guys have been playing it recently and I must say it's addicting.

For anyone not familiar with it, it's a Hero Arena type thing. If you're played DOTA it's very similar to that, except you're in an arena and the waves are coming at you.

20 Waves, two different maps (the waves are different on each map) at the moment and they're planning on adding more I've heard.

Pick a hero, find two friends, and defend your arena against hordes of orks and SPESS MAHRINNS. Takes a few tries to beat it and then you're going for the leaderboard.
