So if you havn't tried it yet there is a BETA of Steams new UI currently available.
To download it just go to Settings in Steam and under the Account Tab there should be a BETA participation dropdown box, simply select the UI update and Steam will download and restart itself, only took 20 seconds for me, so its not a huge update but the new UI is very nice:
