I love the Pulp Fiction song, but every time I hear it I get reminded of those fucking lame Black Eyed Peas and their shitty cover of it.

metallica and ac/dc have sold more albums worldwide than any five bands you like combined, i'd say.

Albums sold means nothing, look at Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, and Backstreet Boys, their albums sold just as much and their music is shit.

There are many a 60's movie soundtrack triple album type things out there which have some brilliant music used on movies from the decade and after.

Trippy, I have been thinking very hard of an offensive yet suttle counter argument to your claims.

I just have an open mind to music, I am doing Music and Record Production at Uni :)

That said I'm enjoying my Drum and Bass at moe, along with The Mars Volta and Fall of Troy and such French Dance Club artists as Mr Oizo, Sebastian and Justice.

Can't deny the greatness of the 60s though.

I went to see System of a down a few years back. Mars volta opened for them. System was amazing as they have been everytime i've seen them. Mars Volta sucked more dick than George Michael in a public restroom.

The Mars Volta arn't good live, but that doesn't mean their recordings suck. Muse are a band that get the two right, but not every band is for live gigs. I went to see Mars Volta live and enjoyed it but I didn't think they were good, on the contrary they were terrible however I still enjoyed the experience. I still think they are a great band and their recordings are truely immense.

Same as Wolfmother, I don't think they are very good live but they kickass ass a band.
