Week 7 is a pretty important week in fantasy terms. The leading teams are starting to show themselves and those in the chasing pack are starting to see where they need to improve. And since we're almost halfway thru the season if you're below .500 you're no doubt coming to the conclusion that the waiver wire can only help you so much and at some point you're going to have to make some good trades if you want to win the Championship.

With that in mind, and the fact that no one seems to check the Yahoo site until the weekend I thought I'd start a Trading Block thread here instead. List anyone you're willing to trade and what you'd like in return and lets see if we can get some trades going.

I'll kick things off. Here are two lists of players (one from each team) who I'd be interested in trading, and the positions I'd like in return. If you'd rather have someone not listed, then make me an offer - the worst I can do is say no.

Regular League:

Tony Romo - for a WR (Carson Palmer, Eli Manning, Brian Griese, J.T. O'Sullivan owners I'm looking at you)! :)

IDP League:

Running Backs! I've got lots of them - if you need some, take a look at my roster and make me an offer - for a #1 WR.

OK, so that's my teams. Now it's up to you guys to say what you're looking for and who you're willing to trade. C'mon, take a leaf out of Jerry Jones' book and get dealin!

Dart, I just accepted your IDP trade. Looks like McGahee might be out for awhile and with Edge's declining production, I really do need a stable back. Not sure I should've given up Colston with Brees in the groove, but I gotta do something to shore up the RBs.

That's what I'm talking about! You can take almost any team in either league and it has weaknesses. The only team I'd say that is almost perfectly balanced would be Darks IDP team and that's only 1 injury away from having problems. We can all improve our teams, it's just a case of finding a partner who can help to balance your team, while you also balance theirs.

But if you're reading this and either of your teams are below .500 this week this is your chance. If you lose touch at this point in the season, you might as well start planning for next year. So come on people, this is the time to take your shot - go to work!

I don't want J.T. O'Sullivan you idiot! :p

I'm amazed you do! I've got Romo, Warner (and now Schaub for the bye) at QB. The reason I mentioned J.T. O'SmellingSalts was because I hadn't went down the league and listed all of the crap starting signal callers who were on rosters atm. Potential partners for a Romo deal. What I didn't do was notice you had McNabb on the bench which rather insulates you against the need to trade for an elite QB. But that's cool.

He'll (Romo) remain available though. Even when he's back from injury (and playing against Washington, the 49ers and Seattle). So if anyone needs a QB and has a WR to offer in the regular league, let me know.

Oh one last thing, don't be too cautious... If you spend your whole time worrying about what you're giving up you'll never get anywhere. Identify your weakness and address it.
