As I mentioned the other day, NFLUK had a PR event today in Central London. There was a lot of waiting around and sadly there was no Drew Brees but I did get to meet a couple of the Saints players, various Chargers players and a few pretty tasty cheerleaders.
Anyway, just got home and thought I'd post a pick of yours truly with David Patten (Superbowl winner) and Darren Sproles (very short man):

I'm jealous, that's cool to meet NFL players...genetic freaks that they are. I was at a Mariners opening day radio show (it was held at a bar) this past season where they were interviewing local athletes. Went to the bathroom, was taking a piss in the urinal when Patrick Kerney rolls up to the pisser next to me. My only thought was "Jesus, that dude is huge..."

Regarding Harrison, yeah - sorry about that! But if it makes you feel any better, Colston laid an egg which almost cost me the matchup. And at least Lewis had a decent game.

I think Lewis was worth it overall. I've got a solid team looking ahead if my CBs play decently, if Curtis can contribute, and if Mason keeps up the current pace. I'm pleased with how things are going so far.

darren sproles is a fucking beast, i said whenever he came out of kansas state that i thought he'd be one hell of a back, if he'd get traded to someone else who doesnt have a big name back, he'd be on my fantasy team for sure.
One thing I noticed about both of them (and please Jak, no penis jokes... :rolleyes: ) was that, for their size, they've both got enormous hands. Patten particularly. His hands were as big as my head!

I don't know if Sproles could be a featured back, but he's definitely one of the best change of pace backs in the league.

people that run for 200 yards in a bowl game do well in the nfl...case in point: Steve Slaton.

I missed this lol. It's funny because that reminds me of stuff I used to say when I was single and gaming women. Every now and then I'd get asked if I was gay (I could explain why this happens in a lot of detail, but we'll just say it's because I dressed nicely and it gets used by women as a defense mechanism when they're really attracted to you - more than they feel is appropriate at that point in time). Anyway, my response was always to agree...tell them, "Yeah, I'm a meat gazer. What can I say, I use the urinal and I can't help but compare the other guys to me since I'm so small." Ahh, the shit I used to say when gaming girls.

Sproles was so fun to watch in college, until he went against OSU in the Fiesta Bowl and got SHUT DOWN. Anyways that's pretty awesome Dart, but we all know who the real star of that picture is. Love you man.
