Im finally about to order my parts, just unsure on a PSU. Do i really need a 750+ psu with what im getting? Im also open to suggestions. Trying to keep everything about around 1400, but thats including around 200ish for a new moniter

I dont think you would need a 750+ watt psu. I think you only need a 750+ if you are running 2 VGAs. Probably around a 600W will be fine.

figured its time to replace my McGuver's laptop circa 2006 for ps2 lol.

wattage calculator on newegg says you need 542 watts. just remember though if you plan on doing SLI later you'd be better off going ahead and getting 750.

the deed is done. 1300 bucks later everything is shipping. I held off on the data HD until the prices go back to normal so i have to make due with 60gigs on the ssd for a month or so
