It's a fun open world game, no crazy monsters and weird powers or increasingly armoured goons as you progress. It also has wildlife, I'll waiting for them to add predators to the wildlife as killing things that don't attack you just isn't as fun:
The first 'non-patch' update for Far Cry 2 will add predatory animals and killer beasties, says the latest issue of PC Gamer UK.
"The game will be released with only herbivores," reads PCG's The Spy column. "But there's a real chance that the game could end up with more vicious animals in DLC," such as lions, tigers and hopefully hungry, hungry hippos.
The retail version sports boring old Zebra and Deer that simply flop over when you peg them with a rifle (we've tried). Apparently, Far Cry's devs told us, this is so that players don't get too distracted and go off maiming giraffes. We think it's a brilliant idea, frankly.
