While we're one this shock fyi the veyron was dethroned as the fastest production car in the world anymore.

The SSC Aero TT made by the American company Shelby Super Cars is now the fastest production car in the world at 1182hp and 986lbs of torque stock, with a 2.6 second 0-60.

Edit: Its powered by similar a Chevy v8 that was used in the Z06 corvette.

And yet its not comfy, doesn't drive well, is slower to accelerate and god knows you wouldn't want one.

i did not know that demo...thats fuckin unreal though. i read somewhere that if you were to drive the veyron for like 16 minutes with the pedal down you'd be out of gas. rofl.

bet that one you just pictured would be out in like 10. hah nice.

i would love to drive at over 1k hp...what a freakin rush.

Yeah Ive never done any track racing but i love the drag, Would be neat though.


And yet its not comfy, doesn't drive well, is slower to accelerate and god knows you wouldn't want one.

Its alot faster to accelerate when you take in to account that the Veyron is using two low end turbo chargers and only gets it by 2 or 3 tenths of a second. This is only 0-60mph though in the 1/4 mile drag the Aero TT has a 9.9 compared to the Veyron at 10.2.

Apparently during it's design they tried to reshape the mirrors on the Veyron. They'd just about finished it when they sent the new specification to the wind-tunnel they were using just so the eggheads could OK they new design and a polite but firm note was sent back informing VW (the makers of the Veyron) that if they did infact change the shape of the mirrors thus, at top speed, the new version of the car would 'take off'...

The shape of the wing-mirrors actually create enough drag to help keep the car on the road!!!
