Great RPG / Strategy / Tactical / FPS game. Amazing.
Open world, simply the best melee combat ive ever played, awesome mounted combat, large battles, sieges, and an amazing mod community. People had even made mods that make the graphics rival Oblivion on full, Star wars, and realism mods. And it'll run on a calculator.
Be warned - You get thrown in at the deep end, but its refreshing, fun and so cheap you cant pass it up. Get it.

It makes any other melee combat game look god awful in comparison.
I checked this out awhile back but never bought it because it said the storyline was repetitive and what not.. maybe the reviewer was an idiot.

No, there really isn't much of a story. It's pretty much a bunch of mini-quests... you can join a faction and fight against the other factions but that's about it.
Most of the game is about building up your own party (army) and mowing shit down. Oh and you can eventually get castles to defend.
So I finally downloaded this game yesterday.. and let me just say I need sleep! lol

Yeah this game is amazing and they are making an expansion to add multi-player + other cool features like formations and what not.
I thought it was cool using the battlesizer mod and having a 500 man army duke it out w/ another 300-500 man army w/ every unit being rendered on the field.
Great game.

Its a truly open world game, that's why I love it. You can literally rise from being a poor peasant dude to a warlord or simply go around being a brigand, haha.
The mods alone give it infinite replayability!
When the expansion / multiplayer comes out wee should get some games going!

Definitely. I think it said something about the matches being 8v8 or 16v16 and each player builds there armies or something. Meh, not sure though. Its prob too early in development to be able to tell whats going down.
