What To Include In Your Post
Your name, your age, prior characters (links please as we're lazy and hate to search), prior outfits, all prior experience in PlanetSide, why you want to join, and who you heard about us from (So we can either thank or TK them).

Quick Info
- Delta Triad was formed on the principle of quality over quantity. It has always been a small Outfit intended for experienced players.
- Since it's creation more than 3 years ago DT has been one of the top PlanetSide Outfits world-wide, winning the Emerald Outfit War with a perfect record of six victories, no losses.
- Unfortunately as a small Outfit we cannot accept 'Alt' characters, therefore if you wish to join you must play your VS character as your main (80% of the time or more).
- Your activity level should be high - and you must enjoy playing as part of a team
- You must use Ventrilo
- You must have Mosquito certed
- You must have either Adv Hack or Adv Med or AMS and AV MAX certed (by the time you reach br15 approx.) in order to perform a specific role while within the group
- You must be both easy-going and mature. Most members of Delta Triad are between 18-35 and all are experienced players.
- Important: Delta Triad does not condone hacking, in any form, and if any applicant is found to be hacking PlanetSide in any way, shape or form, their trial will be cancelled immediately. There will be no second chance.

Age
It is recommended that applicants are 17 or above. Younger applicants may still be given a tryout but as I have already pointed out, maturity is one of the most important things we look for in new members.

A Bit More Detail

Pre-Trial
You'll squad with DT for a bit in order for us to find out how active you are and how well your perform in the type of fighting in which we engage. This is especially important if you are creating a new character to apply to the group as this will give you time to gain BR. You should also use this time to decide if you like the way we play.

Trial
Once your character is of a sufficient level and you have displayed the necessary ability whilst fighting with the Outfit you'll receive an Outfit Invite from either myself or DartagnanUK to begin your trial. Recruits who make it through to this stage will have to display good teamwork & co-ordination as well as the ability to play the game to a high level. This will be your chance to really get a feel for the Outfit and the individual personalities within it. Due to the fact that ultimately the acceptance of your application will rest on a group-wide decision (with each member having a vote) it is important that during this period you make an effort to get to know members as well as perform well during game play.

The length of your trial really depends on your own activity -- it usually lasts between one and two weeks -- but since you'll be accumulating Outfit Points during this process and will, to all intents and purposes, be a member of DT it should be fun experience. Once we feel we've got to know you as a player, each member of DT will vote whether or not they think you should make it in. If you are successful, you will be informed by an Officer, welcomed and given your full rank within the Outfit. If not, you will be told in person, you will be invited to leave the Outfit and your trial will then be concluded. Now at this point I do want to stress that only about 20% of applicants actually make the grade. We do our best to give everyone a fair shot but at the end of the day, we're an elite group for a reason - we only take the best applicants.

My advice, if you're interested in joining, would be to apply and see how it goes. Regardless of the outcome, you're still going to be running with the Outfit which won the Emerald Outfit Wars and you'll be able to pick up tips & tricks from some of the best players ever to play the game. So even if you don't ultimately get into the Outfit, the process will almost certainly make you a better player and be pretty enjoyable to boot!

Please note: Due to the fact that we are a small Outfit, a high degree of activity from our players is vital. If you generally play less than 5 hours a week, you probably would not thrive within our group

Certifications
As part of Delta Triad you will usually be outnumbered by enemies when fighting, often by as many as 4 or 5 to 1. Most of the time the location of our battles will be so far from the 'zerg' that you will only have your Outfitmates to rely upon. For this reason every member in DT, as well as having whatever weapon certs they deem necessary, must also support the group with some kind of 'advanced' team-orientated cert. By the time your character reaches BR16 we require you to have either Advanced Medical or Hacking (please ask if you are not sure which to get). If you find that we have plenty of those certs during your normal play times then you may want to get AMS and either an AI or AV MAX (with the amount of maxes that we need to fight AV Maxes are normally very helpful).

Outfit Squad
The Outfit will normally have the Squad listed in the 'Find Squad' section. There has been some additional words used but its usually just labelled as Delta Triad, DT Squad or Triangle Triangle.

Some Outfit Info
The more you play the better chance you stand, is the moto we go by. If you play three to five hours a day, four days a week during your trial, we're going to take you alot more seriously than someone who plays for one hour a day for only one or two days during your trial.

I want to join DT because my previous outfit has became inactive and I'm the only one who plays activily.

My Planetside experience begins back in August 2003 when I started my NC, I was a huge noob . At the beginning of 2004 I moved to Emerald under the name of MirrorBOY and over the past few years I have been in several outfits and ran with some of the best.

As you can see from my current certs I'm adv med, use Rexo/HA as my main setup, enjoy flying in both skeeter/reaver and of course my passion is the resecures and defence fights.

I look forward to running with you guys and hope that I can join.
